In order to start accepting paypal payments you must setup your paypal account as a verified merchant.

You should also contact Makeweb support to ensure that Paypal has been activated for your webshop.

The next step is to configure how paypal interacts with your webshop. Most of this has already been taken care of by Makeweb but you will need to set the following from within your Paypal account:

On your Profile page click the link Website Payment preferences:

On the Website Payment Preferences page you should

1) enable Auto Return; and

2) enter the following Return URL: http://www.yourdomain.co.nz/checkout_process.php (replace with your domain name)

3) On that same page you will have to ensure the following is set to off:

Please be assured that all communication with Paypal from your webshop IS encrypted via the dedicated SSL certificate that we apply to every webshop. The above setting does not mean that the communication is unencrypted, but the integration will cause a warning if set to On.
