When your webshop is protected by an SSL certificate your customer can see this by the well known yellow padlock in their browser:

You won't be troubled with all the boring technical details here but put simply: whenever sensitive data (like personal details, payment details etc.) are sent between your webshop and your customers' browsers it is sent via encrypted connections so no one can get access to their details on the way. Security on Mobile devices, smartphones etc.

Mobile devices like to be different. Standard security certificates (like the ones we use) are not always accepted by these devices. Your security certificate can be updated to a type that is certain to be accepted by mobile devices. The cost of this is $400.00 plus GST per year (non-refundable).
